LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Officials have closed down part of Kalamazoo St near U.S. 127 and the exit ramps to Kalamazoo St from northbound U.S.-127 and eastbound I-496 due to flooding.
As of 8:45 p.m., the water has shut down Kalamazoo St between Detroit St. and Clippert. This is where several businesses are located near Frandor including Bake N’ Cakes , Steakhouse Philly Bar & Grill and Ace Rug Cleaners.
At this time it’s not clear what has caused this flooding, but the Red Cedar River had risen quite a bit after heavy rain earlier this week…
