BAY CITY, Mich. (WJRT) – Bay City Public Schools is mourning the loss of an eighth-grade student who was found dead shortly after he got off a school bus Tuesday afternoon.
District spokesman Ben Tierney said the male student, who attended Handy Middle School, exited a bus at this regular stop near McGregor Elementary School in the 1000 block of Fremont Street.
A short time later, a neighbor noticed him lying on the sidewalk and called 911. The Bay City Department of Public Safety and emergency medical service crews treated the boy, but he was pronounced dead…
