EAST LANSING, MI — New U.S. tariffs and retaliatory tariffs imposed on new vehicles sold in the U.S. would add tariff cost burdens of between $2,000 to $15,000 to some vehicles, according to an analysis by an East Lansing consultant group.
Anderson Economic Group published a report on the impacts of the latest tariff-related proclamations by the administration of President Donald Trump, who last week announced plans to relax some of his planned 25% tariffs on autos and auto parts.
