LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A break from the heat and humidity is just around the corner as a cold front brings the chance for showers and storms back to the area for Sunday.
We remain dry for the morning hours but clouds will increase. Temperatures remain in the upper 80s for the day, slightly cooler because of the clouds moving in. As we approach the late morning to early afternoon hours showers and scattered storms move in.
While no severe weather is expected we could see gusts up to 40 to 60 mph with locally heavy downpours in some locations. By Sunday night rain calms down and we remain cloudy with temperatures into the low to mid 60s.
Relief from heat and humidity moves in on Monday however we could see a few scattered showers lingering during the morning hours. Clouds gradually dissipate heading into the afternoon and evening with temperatures into the upper 70s to low 80s area wide! Dew points remain in the 50s to 60s which is quite refreshing compared to what we have seen over the past few days.
Quiet and cooler weather continues for Tuesday and Wednesday with daytime highs reaching the low to mid 80s for both days. Our next chance for rain moves in Wednesday into Thursday with highs into the 80s for both days. Rain chances continue for Friday and into the weekend!…
