LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – Electric vehicle advocates have now started what they’re calling the national Freedom To Drive Tour, showcasing how they say electric vehicles can offer drivers more freedom.
State representatives Julie Brixie and Angela Witwer were joined by business leaders Tuesday to bring the tour to Lansing.
Organizers say they’re pushing for more driver freedom—which they say means freedom from high gas prices, freedom to breathe easy, freedom to build, and the freedom to save.
Speakers acknowledged that many EV’s may have a higher sticker price, but long-term, they believe electric vehicles are becoming one of the most affordable choices for working families…
