Big news for Michigan burger lovers: Halo Burger has begun expanding into Metro Detroit — and the first stop is already open in Clinton Township!
If you’ve never tried Halo Burger, you’re missing out on a true Michigan classic. Based in Flint, the chain has been around since 1923 and is known for juicy burgers, crispy fries, and thick, creamy shakes. There are coneys, a BlackBean Burger for those who want to avoid meat, and olive burgers for anyone who wants that flavor in their lives for some reason. Halo Burger even offers the famous Boston Cooler — a Michigan treat made with Vernors and vanilla ice cream.
Clinton Township’s Grand Opening Success
The brand-new Clinton Township location north of Detroit is the first Halo Burger to show up outside the greater Flint area, and it’s going over like gangbusters. It brings all the local flavor people further north have loved for years. And, apparently this is just the beginning — Halo Burger says more locations are on the way.
