Still hazy in Lansing. When the air quality may improve

A statewide air quality advisory is in place through Aug. 4; the smoke is expected to dissipate later in the week.

“A stagnant air mass in place across the upper Great Lakes means another day of hazy conditions due to wildfire smoke stuck over the region. It is likely that smoke will linger Tuesday…but we may see improving conditions Wednesday,” the National Weather Service in Gaylord on X…
