Michigan edge rusher Derrick Moore has generated plenty of headlines in recent weeks for his rivalry talk. He threatened a whipping of in-state rival Michigan State this fall, and poked holes in Ohio State’s national title because the Buckeyes failed to beat he and the Wolverines.
But Moore also realizes for him and the team to keep their success going against those rivals, his play on the field must back that up. The Wolverines return a deep defensive front in 2025, a group headlined by Moore and fellow edge rusher TJ Guy, a long, experienced duo hungry to show what they can do.
“I haven’t really been able to go inside my (tool) bag,” Moore told reporters a few weeks ago at Big Ten Media Days. “But I feel like once I go inside my bag, I’ll be able to pull out a lot of different moves to show what I got.”…
