The Lansing Police Department (LPD) is asking for your help following a tragic shooting that claimed the life of a 36-year-old man in Lansing, Michigan, during a memorial gathering on the city’s south side.
What Happened on Wilson Avenue
Just after 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, officers were called to the 3800 block of Wilson Avenue after reports of gunfire. When Lansing police arrived, they found DeAndre Campbell suffering from a gunshot wound under his arm. Campbell was rushed to the hospital, but sadly, he didn’t survive.
