LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– Heat and humidity will combine Tuesday to create scattered showers and storms through the afternoon and evening.
Storms will begin in the early afternoon, with a main line of storms expected to advance through the area around sunset.
The Storm Prediction Center has placed all of Mid-Michigan under a Marginal Risk (1 out of 5) for severe storms today, with a limited threat for damaging wind gusts as the line of storms moves through this evening.
These storms will bring some much-needed rain to the region, as Lansing is currently over 3″ behind normal on rainfall for the year…
