LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Lansing City Council has introduced an amendment that would establish the city itself as the sole residential waste collection provider.
Lansing currently uses four separate waste collection providers, including Capital Area Recycling and Trash (CART), which is run by the city, Waste Management, Granger Waste Services, and Republic Services. Daggett Container also offers trash pickup for Lansing.
