LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Potter Park Zoo’s female eastern black rhino Doppsee is now in critical condition, according to a Tuesday update from the zoo.
According to the zoo, her condition has “gone up and down” over the course of her treatment for a gastrointestinal obstruction, and that she would improve and then regress.

Doppsee had a medical emergency back in July that required her to be placed under 24/7 monitoring, receiving treatment from up to 20 veterinarians and a team totaling 45-50 people at a time, vets told 6 News.
