Man pleads guilty to role in Lansing homicide case

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – Terrance Jones has pleaded guilty to a five-year felony charge for his role in the aftermath of a brutal homicide in Lansing.

He was convicted of being an ‘accessory after the fact’ in connection with an open murder and the disinterment and mutilation of a dead body case.

According to court documents, on May 12, 2024, brothers Leonard Hayes and Marcus Hayes allegedly got into a physical altercation with 25-year-old Zacarri Taylor at a home on Georgetown Boulevard.
