Two killed, three injured in Lansing crash Saturday morning

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Two people died in a crash near downtown Lansing at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday. A sedan crashed into a utility pole, knocking out power lines in the area.

The collision happened at West Oakland Avenue and North Walnut Street. Police say “alcohol and speed” led to the crash.

Five people were involved in the crash. The other three were hospitalized. As of 2:11 p.m., two of them are reported to be in “stable” condition, according to police. One person is in critical condition…
