After a sunny Labor Day weekend, Michiganders can expect cooler temperatures, according to the National Weather Service, as a series of cold fronts are expected to move through the state later this week.

“Dry conditions persist today with highs near-normal,” NWS Detroit said in a report Tuesday. “The warmest day of the week occurs Wednesday as shower and thunderstorm chances increase ahead of a cold front. Cooler weather fills in behind the front Thursday, becoming drier into the weekend.”
