LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A comfort K-9 for the East Lansing Police Department (ELPD), a goldendoodle named Silas, is nominated for the First Responder Paws Therapy Dog Award, the department announced on social media. Voting is open until Sept. 12. Voting is available here.
The award is given by FHE Health, a rehabilitation and mental health facility in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
