LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A Lansing landlord is being fined again after failing to bring his properties into compliance with city codes. Christain Nwobu is being sued by the city for housing code violations at eight of his properties.
Nwobu was last in court on July 28th, where he was fined $500 for each property that was not in compliance. He was also given 30 days to bring them up to code.
As of Sept. 8, seven of those properties are still not in compliance. District Court Judge Tony Flores fined Nwobu an additional $500 for each property and gave him another 30 days to bring them up to code…
