Police oversight commission pushing back against possible ordinance changes

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – East Lansing’s Independent Police Oversight Commission is not happy with some possible changes to its authority.

A new contract between the City of East Lansing and the union representing its police department looks to change some policies that commission leadership says will limit members’ power.
