East Lansing will soon get its first taste of Sheetz, a Pennsylvania-based gas station and fast-food hybrid chain, with a location opening at 111 E. Saginaw St.
The store is expected to create 30-35 jobs, most of them full-time with benefits.
Beyond food and fuel, a public affairs manager at Sheetz, Nick Ruffner, said in a statement that the company wants the store to serve as a “community hub,” offering a spot for families, friends and fans to gather before Michigan State University games.
