Well, I believe that yesterday’s game was what they call a “road test” in the trade, and I suppose if winning is the sole thing that some people will ultimately remember, then we passed on that measure. However, this is MGoBlog, and very little escapes notice, and it was certainly not without moments of “FUCK”, because that is the sort of fan that we have here.
I will point out that this was one of the longest threads we’ve had in a little bit, and like threads of a similar nature in the past, a great deal of the posts centered around particular moments in the game. When the clock hit zero, the game thread had 3,342 posts, and for a little perspective, the only teams that tend to generate such lengthy threads historically are Michigan State and Ohio State. In this case, it was an away game, a difficult one at that on paper, and rather hair-raising at points, so all of this and other things combined make for….a lot of shit.
Within those 3,342 posts, there were 1,158 instances of tracked works, which made for an overall efficiency of 2.89, which is usually comfortable win territory, but in the Moore era, these traditional ranges are starting to reorganize themselves a little bit…
