Cooley Law School placed on probation for not meeting American Bar Association exam standards

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– The American Bar Association (ABA) announced it has placed Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing on probation for not meeting exam passage requirements.

According to the ABA, the Law School’s noncompliance with standards is “sufficiently serious that it raises concerns about the quality of the student learning experience provided by the Law School.”

The ABA requires at least 75% of a school’s graduates who take the bar exam to pass within two years of graduation.
