BANCROFT, Mich. (WJRT) – We are learning that some people involved in church security in mid-Michigan actually got a warning days before the Grand Blanc Township church attack that there was a recent threat to places of worship.
Just a few days before Sunday, a message was sent by the chaplain of the Shiawassee County Sheriff’s Department to a group of people warning about a possible terrorist strike on a church or churches in the United States.
It’s not clear who wrote it. The message states that there has been an intelligence report that Al Qaeda and ISIS were openly calling for lone wolf attacks against churches…
