LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – A Lansing school is getting national recognition for connecting students with wildlife.
The National Wildlife Federation recognized The Montessori Children’s House in White Pine Middle School for its Certified Schoolyard Habitat, which gives students hands-on experience tending to the garden to grow produce and care for three chickens.
