The Attorney General’s Office and Michigan Economic Development Corporation have ended a legal battle, for now, over documents and materials seized from MEDC’s headquarters in a raid this summer.
On Thursday, Oct. 16, Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Jacob Cunningham signed off on an agreement between Attorney General Dana Nessel’s Office, MEDC and MEDC CEO Quentin Messer outlining a process to resolve claims by MEDC of privileged material seized by Nessel’s office.
