LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – The burn ban previously issued for Wheatfield, Williamston, Locke, Leroy Townships, and Webberville has been officially lifted.
The ban, originally implemented on October 12 by NISEA Fire and Rescue, prohibited all forms of outdoor burning, including campfires, fire pits, brush burning, and any other fires that produce ash.
During the ban, all existing burn permits were revoked, and no new permits were issued…
