LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A man from Olivet is heading to court after being accused of creating a false accounting licensing, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel announced Monday.
Joseph Vanator, 30, was arraigned before Judge Reid Felsing in the 56A District Court in Charlotte on one count of accounting violations, a 5-year felony.
According to Nessel, Vanator as employed at Vanators & Associates, an accounting firm. He is accused of creating a fake “Certificate/License To Practice Public Accounting” that appeared to be issued by the State of Michigan Department of Licensing and regulatory Affairs (LARA)…
