LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – Mayor Andy Schor joined developers Tuesday to announce the redevelopment of a property in south Lansing.
The $3.8 million development would open a shopping center at 820 W. Miller Road, which has been vacant since 2015. The proposal, approved by City Council earlier this year, would include a restaurant, an event venue and a laundromat.
Schor said he discovered this project four years ago while knocking on doors for his re-election campaign. As he tells the story, Schor knocked on the developers’ door and they immediately started talking about plans for this space…
