Gophers flatline against a bad Spartans team
Minnesota was just a 3.5 point favorite on Saturday at home against the Spartans. The line grew to 4.5 by kickoff, but the books were clear, this team doesn’t know how to put away bad competition. Michigan State had lost five in a row with head coach Jonathan Smith on the hot seat.
