City of Lansing providing $10,000 to boost local food assistance

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – Mayor Andy Schor announced that the City of Lansing will contribute $10,000 to the Greater Lansing Food Bank to help provide food assistance to local families affected by ongoing federal funding delays.

The city’s funding will allow the food bank to serve roughly 200 additional families during two upcoming drive-thru mobile food distributions.
