EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — After Hurricane Melissa hit Jamaica, the country and its people are slowly picking up the pieces — and a physician from East Lansing is doing what she can to help.
Jamaica holds a very special place in Elizabeth Kozlowski’s heart.
“I did a semester abroad. When I was in college. Went down there for four months, went to Kingston, went to University of West Indies. I did, I worked in a health clinic down there,” said Kozlowski. “This was before I had went to medical school and just fell in love with Jamaica.”
Kozlowski, an osteopathic family physician at Kozmic Care in East Lansing, says she’s traveling to Jamaica on Saturday and is asking her community for donations to provide medical assistance to people in need…
