MASON, Mich. (WLNS) — Dozens of relatives of missing persons gathered in Mason, Michigan, for the ‘Missing in Michigan’ event to share their stories and seek support.
The event, founded in 2010, aims to provide resources and advocacy for families of missing persons. Currently, over 3,500 people are reported missing in Michigan, according to state officials.
“It takes a toll on your mental health, extremely,” said Jessica Johnson, whose father, Rick, has been missing for almost three years. “And if you don’t take care of yourself, it can get really rough, that’s for sure.”…
