New art installation unveiled in downtown East Lansing

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A new collaborative art exhibit between the City of East Lansing and Michigan State University has been unveiled.

Colored film has been placed in the windows of the East Lansing Skywalk, located along Albert Avenue between the Marriott Hotel and the Charles Street parking garage.

According to the city, the display was installed by Michigan State University Assistant Professor Barbara Pearsall and the 18 students in her Color and Design course. Each student created a paper design, which was then converted into colored film.
