LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– The American Bar Association (ABA) announced the council has lifted the probation placed on Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing. Cooley Law School remains an approved Law School.
In September, the law school was on probation for not meeting exam passage requirements.
The ABA reported the Law School’s noncompliance with standards is “sufficiently serious that it raises concerns about the quality of the student learning experience provided by the Law School.”

The ABA requires at least 75% of a school’s graduates who take the bar exam to pass within two years of graduation…
