Michigan State Police welcome 50 new troopers after graduation

LANSING, Mich. (WJRT) – Michigan State Police are welcoming 50 new troopers who graduated Wednesday from the 149th Trooper Recruit School in Lansing.

Col. James F. Grady II, director of the Michigan State Police, administered the Oath of Office to the graduates. They will begin their assignments at posts across the state next week.

The graduates include Nolan Berg of Midland, Nicholas Butcher of Fremont, Connor Hickey of Bridgeport and Andrew Miranne of Spokane, Wash., who will be assigned to the Tri-City Post in Freeland…
