The City of East Lansing’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Arts will hold its annual Winter Fest on Saturday, December 6, at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will have a ‘Winter Olympics’ theme. Children can join games and activities with a chance to win medals.
Winter Fest will include both indoor and outdoor activities. There will be a winter farmers and craft market, food trucks from International Soul and VEG-N, live entertainment, face painting, and craft stations. Characters from Disney’s ‘Frozen’ will be available for photos with a suggested $5 donation. Outdoor activities will include live ice sculpting, firepits, and a s’mores station.
Inside, guests can enjoy a bounce house, tabletop hockey and curling, popcorn, hot cider, and craft-making stations. Ornament and refrigerator magnet crafts will be offered by the Prime Time Senior Programs. The holiday film ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’ will be shown three times during the event…
