Michigan state surplus sale offers tools, sporting goods, clothing to public

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -This week, the Department of Technology, Management and Budget will be holding a State Surplus Sale for the community.

The sale will include a variety of items such as tools, sporting goods and clothing. Inventory includes things seized by state police as well as items from airports.

“It’s an opportunity for us to allow the community to take advantage of some of the things that we have to offer such as furniture, chairs, file cabinets, tables,” said Ron Turner of the State Surplus Store. “And if there’s anything of value that we can offer to the community, we put it up in our store.”…
