East Lansing doctor returns from Jamaica hurricane relief trip

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — There is still a lot of work to do to get the nation of Jamaica back on its feet after Hurricane Melissa devastated the island in October — and one doctor from Michigan just returned from a 3-week trip providing vital medical aid to those in need.

Many have been sending emergency supplies and visiting the nation to help it rebuild, including East Lansing physician Elizabeth Kozlowski.

From batteries to lights to first aid kids, Kozlowski brought them all to Jamaica to help people rebuild their lives and heal after losing everything, and provided medical care when it was needed…
