Jewish communities begin eight-day Hanukkah celebration

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – People across the world are celebrating the first night of Hanukkah on Sunday.

Hanukkah is a Jewish festival that lasts eight days and celebrates the rededication of the Holy Temple. The festival starts tonight and will last until December 22.
