More ramp closures expected as MDOT wraps up U.S. 127 project

LANSING — A couple of ramps along U.S. 127 in the Lansing area will be shut down at times this week to allow crews to finish tasks associated with the freeway reconstruction project, state highway officials said.

The ramp from westbound Interstate 96 to northbound U.S. 127 will be closed from 7 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, for “striping and traffic control removal,” the Michigan Department of Transportation said.

Meanwhile, the ramp from southbound U.S. 127 to Dunckel Road will have intermittent closures on those days…
