Lansing reaches deal to break up homeless encampment, offer temporary shelter

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – The city of Lansing has reached a settlement that will see a homeless encampment on the city’s north side broken up and residents given temporary shelter.

The encampment has been set up near Dietrich Park on property partially owned by JAJ Property LLC, a company based in West Bloomfield.
