MSU Jewish center targeted with Nazi symbols, rocks

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — East Lansing police are searching for a suspect after two possible hate crimes were perpetrated against the MSU Chabad Jewish Center during Hanukkah.

Surveillance video shows a masked man repeatedly throwing rocks at the MSU Chabad building, a gathering space for East Lansing’s Jewish community, Tuesday. Two days later, a man spray-painted Nazi symbols on the center’s front door, then threw rocks at the windows.

Rabbi Kasriel Shamtov, executive director of Chabad Lubavitch of Michigan, called the incident “disturbing.”

“The perpetrator has to be apprehended swiftly,” Shamtov said…
