Michigan mothers look for answers after daughters’ disappearances

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Imagine not knowing where your child is and spending countless hours making flyers and social media posts in hopes of bringing them home. For two Lansing-area mothers, that was their reality.

Police say Amber Arnett, then-39, was last seen on June 23, 2023, at the Dollar Tree in Logan Square, but her mother, Marty Arnett, believes her daughter went somewhere else.

“It was her Facebook. She had a message out to somebody that said let me in. I’m at the gate because that person didn’t respond,” said Arnett. “The police can’t confirm that she was there, but through other messages and digging, I know that she was at that house at like 9:30 that night.”…
