Fire causes large emergency response in Lansing

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A fire that burned a home in Lansing led to a large emergency response Saturday evening.

The fire occurred on the south side of Lansing at 4901 Burchfield Drive. 6 News was on the scene at around 10:45 p.m. and saw at least 5 Lansing Fire Department trucks.

Ryan Scott, a neighbor who called in the fire, says, “There were flames coming out of the north side of this house, which has been red tagged for a while.”

Scott and another neighbor went around the outside of the home, knocking to get anyone out who may have been inside. He says no one responded…
