The mid-Michigan area, including Lansing, is under a high wind warning until Monday night, Dec. 29, because of a “bomb cyclone” winter storm hitting the state.
The high winds have already caused tens of thousands of power outages across the state, including some in Greater Lansing.
“Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles,” the National Weather Service said in the wind advisory…
