Staudt has been selected for the Michigan Gold Circle, presented by the Michigan chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Emmy organization. It’s reserved for TV pros with 50+ years of service, and who have made a real impact in the industry and community.

Tim Staudt’s Career Journey

Staudt is now in his 54th year of broadcasting and is widely known as the “Dean of Sports.” The Dean is the longest-serving on-air sportscaster in Michigan history. But for our listeners, the daily connection is on Lansing 730, with “Staudt on Sports” billed as the longest-running daily radio sports show in Michigan history.
