Yaya’s Chicken Making a Comeback in Lansing with New Location

The Michigan restaurant known for serving quality chicken is returning to the Lansing area very soon.

From Lansing State Journal, Yaya’s Flame Broiled Chicken is returning to the city, this time opening at 724 Clippert Street and with the new name Yaya’s Kitchen. This follows the closure of their 3011 E Saginaw Street location in 2023. Owner Dielli Husen told What Now Detroit he is hoping to open by the end of the month.

Originally starting in Flint, the chicken shop is known for their sandwiches, salads and even chicken noodle soup. They advertise their birds as never frozen, never battered, never fried in grease and never marinated in oil. For the new Lansing location, it will have all the same menu items…
