LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Northeast Ingham Emergency Service Authority rescued a man from a grain silo near Dansville on Thursday morning.
According to Don Drent, Deputy Chief of Northeast Ingham Emergency Service Authority, first responders were dispatched to Wilcox Farms, located at 3790 Iosco Road in Dansville, at around 9:00 a.m.
6 News was on the scene and saw first responders on top of the silo actively working to rescue the man.
According to the man’s family, he was able to walk down the ladder outside the silo on his own and spoke to those waiting outside. He was then transported to the hospital for further evaluation. According to Drent, the rescue took one hour and 15 minutes to complete…
