LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — An 81-year-old woman from Holt was injured after her vehicle hit a deceased cow, which was struck and killed by another driver, in Ingham County on Monday.
According to the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to Okemos Road and Harper Road in Alaiedon Township after receiving reports that two vehicles had hit a cow and calf at around 6:45 a.m.
A northbound vehicle, driven by the 66-year-old woman, hit the cow and calf while the two were walking on the road. She was not injured in the crash.
According to the sheriff’s office, a vehicle heading southbound, driven by the 81-year-old woman, hit the now deceased cow, causing her vehicle to flip and land on its roof in a nearby ditch…
