LANSING — A pair of 15-year-old boys were standing along a north Lansing street early on Jan. 2 when they fired gunshots into a vehicle, seriously wounding the driver, police said in a court document.
Security video captured two males standing in the 700 block of Cross Street about 2:20 a.m., and one of them could be seen firing a handgun as the victim’s vehicle approached, a detective testified in a document filed with the court in support of criminal charges.
Police recovered fired cartridge casings in .45 caliber and .40 caliber from where the suspects were standing and later found handguns chambered in those calibers in an outbuilding behind a residence where the males were found after the shooting, the document said…
