LANSING, MI — A Cheboygan man is looking forward to retirement after winning a $1 million Powerball prize last month.
“I have been playing Powerball for a long time, and I always buy my tickets at Court Street Party Market,” said Brian Spray, 65. “I bought a few Powerball tickets before heading out of town, but I forgot to check them after the drawing.
“The next day, I got a text from my son asking if I got lucky because there was a $1 million winning Powerball ticket sold in Cheboygan. I checked my ticket and to my surprise, I was the big winner! It was surreal. I still can’t believe it.”…
